Internal & External Parasite Control

Our wonderful island environment is a perfect breeding ground for parasites. We carry a wide variety of effective flea products in oral, topical and injectable forms. We highly recommend heartworm prevention for dogs travelling to the mainland, the U.S. or eastern Canada (including Winnipeg).

We also carry products that treat internal parasites and recommend that every pet that spends time outdoors is treated 2-4 times yearly. Ticks are known to carry Lyme disease, so if your dog accompanies you on many walks in the wilderness, or you live in the Nanoose Bay area, we recommend monthly tick prevention. Our staff can advise you which product best suits your pet’s needs.

We offer internal and external parasite control. Please feel free to inquire about the best options for your pets by contacting our knowledgeable staff.
